Our talented staff has over 30 years combined experience in interior furnishing industry including ASID members. We have designed home interiors in exclusive communities, including homes of celebrities, and at luxury show houses for the Street of Dreams home tours.

Jennifer Phillipps Owner/Designer Jennifer Phillipps, owner of Furniture Classics, opened the showroom in the Interior Décor Center in 1986. Starting out at 4,000 sq. ft. and carrying only Bernhardt Furniture; it has now grown to 17,000 sq. ft. and features over 200 lines. Jennifer graduated from Florida State University where she majored in Interior Design and has spent over 30 years in the Interior Design industry. She has been president of the Florida Retail Association and has been on the National Home Furnishings board. Furniture Classics has been featured in a number of publications, including Orlando Leisure, Orlando Magazine, Florida Design and Winter Park Home. Jennifer visits furniture markets bi-annually to see the new trends in an effort to keep the showroom floor fresh and current.		Deedee Laney Designer Deedee Laney has been a part of the Furniture Classics team since 1994 and has been in the interior design profession for 38 years, 30 of which she has worked in the Central Florida area.She is a graduate of Syracuse University where she majored in Interior Design and attends continuing education classes. She is a licensed Interior Designerin the state of Florida and has worked with both residential and commercial spaces. Deedee describes herself as a traditionalist at heart with a clean and sophisticated twist. She specializes in space planning, fabric selections and enjoys finding unique pieces to add interest to the room.
Beverly Bargren Decorator Beverly Bargren has been a part of the Furniture Classics team since 1988 and has worked in the interior design industry for 36 years. She graduated from the University of Northern Iowa where she majored in Home Economics with an emphasis in Interior Design. Beverly describes herself as a traditionalist with an eclectic edge. She specializes in traditional interiors and has a knack for understanding others’ styles when they find it hard to describe themselves.		Patsy Aylward Decorator Patsy Aylward has been a part of the Furniture Classics team since 2005. She previously sold real estate for 25 years and went into the furniture retail business in 2000 in Colorado. There she was in charge of buying, designing and installing time share condos. Patsy has had much training in color coordination and interior designing. She has a real knack for choosing both colors and fabrics and is a very easy going sales person who listens to the needs of her client.
Karleen Bensinger Decorator Karleen Bensinger has been a part of the Furniture Classics team since 2000 and has been in the interior design industry for over 30 years. She is a graduate of the Art Institute in Chicago where she majored in fine arts. She is a professional member of ASID and works with builders and architects in both commercial and residential properties. Karleen has been featured in many publications including Elegant Homes, Orlando Leisure, The MCBC Builder, American Dream Homes and the Orlando Sentinel. Karleen has been involved in Parade of Homes and Street of Dreams where she designed the interiors of 2 homes and won for best interior design in 2006. Karleen describes her personal style as eclectic. She enjoys the interaction with clients and likes the challenge of reflecting their taste in difficult or unusual situations.
